I don’t like cups - I feel they’re best for selfish owner desires. Better to have your cham hunt, provided you have built a nice hunting ground for it to roam.

I’m sure you can make one yourself easy with a large plastic cup with a wire mesh fence taped to one side. Personally, I live to let my cham’s prey free to roam within the cage. Chams aren’t really domesticated animals, and I like to think that letting them hunt is equally good for them overall.

When I’m gone for the day at work, I tend to run mine every 2hr for 30 sec each interval.

I’m very happy with my monsoon. Super simple to set up, and I like the various settings - especially great if you get an additional inexpensive timer so it doesn’t mist during sleep time. Found mine for $100 at a reptile expo and it was well worth it.

My Leilu is also from petco. She shows her colors when she wants to - or when I piss her off! :P
