My guess is that you are going to find him everywhere but not in his free range area since its not high enough to the ceiling of your room.

Thats really bad, you wont get it away even if you repot the plant if the roots are infected. I had this once and had to get rid of the plant. Good luck.

I wouldnt do it. My chameleon burnt his belly when climbing upside down on the top side while I had the heat lamp two inches above the screen mesh. :-\

I would go with the second one as it provides much more space for the chameleon to climb around. And it also looks more open and aerial.

Use pebbles to cover the substrate at your pots, my veil used to eat it and as I can see, your substrate is full of perlite which would make troubles if digested.

It is UVB+Heat+Daylight bulb (all 3 in one) I have used this in my screen enclosure. Basically you only need this one lamp for uvb,heat and light. You might call it "discharge tube", but its a lamp.
