That doesn't sound abnormal. You can increase the humidity a bit for him. If he will tolerate it, you can also hand mist him with warm water. Some chams love the mistings, and some chams hate it, but it does help them with their shed and cleans their eyes as well.

So i did my bi-annual fecal exam last week and my male panther came back positive for giardia. I picked up his meds to day and started treatment. I'm just looking for some info on this parasite here on the forum. Is it a common parasite for chams to get? What helpful hints or tips might you guys...

My panther does it like clockwork everyday, right after a bowel movement. Right around 11am. He likes to gnaw on the thick woody part of his ficus, doesn't bother with the soft leafy green parts of the plants.

I know I'm not gonna be the only one to say this but get rid of the waterfall. the can harbor bacteria, and a host of other problems.

That's exactly what one of my panther's has been doing, but every time i try to video it he will stop. I don't know if maybe he's missing something in his diet or what. I provide him with a high quality gut loaded varied diet, so I'm at a loss.

Yup, thats what they are. So i checked the posts on here, and you kinda get mixed reviews on them. So i guess I'll give them a try. You can gut load the hell out of them! They'll probably be a hand fed item though.

:confused: Maybe someone can enlighten me here, but I've never seen or heard of a cham injuring themselves on a sharp stick or twig. I wouldn't think anyone has thorny, or spine like plants in their enclosures. Not trying to sound rude, just curious.:confused:
