Anyone interested in these books?

I am no longer a keeper of chameleons and have these books for sale. Would like to just sell them all as a set. Make me an offer that will include shipping unless you are in Phoenix AZ. [/IMG] Thanks Jim

Well I see that it is only $60 plus shipping . . . A little less than I thought it would be. Good luck with it

Good question about how to identify a sub-adult male! The only difference I have noticed with the nymphs is that most are oblong while a few are more rounded. I have not had the time to test out my theory but I wonder if the rounded ones are males? I guess it would make sense that the females be...

Not that I am suggesting to go buy a fogger, I am not sure we are all on the same page in reference to the exact fogger that the OP is asking about. Maybe I am wrong, at the same time I believe it to be the new fogger that Zoo-med is offering...

Just an FYI: With Dubias, only the males have wings. Be careful you do not feed off all the males :o Also, even though adult panthers are capable of eating adult Dubia roaches, you and your cham will be much better off if you only feed the nymphs. (Plus your colony will expand a lot faster!)...

We just received one from our Zoo-Med rep (I work in a pet store/reptiles). It is an external fogger with flex plastic hose that you can direct/attach in various positions. The water bottle holds one liter of water. Overall it works rather well. The only challenge I experienced is that...

Thanks everyone! I sort of thought Ambanja but was not sure. Yeah, he does not look like he was well taken care of. Again, the white scar tissue looks a lot different than what I would have thought a burn looks like. He is also very dehydrated . . . Thanks again Jim

Just wondering if you can ID this panther for me. Long story and not my chameleon. Previous owner states it is a Ambilobe from Kamoflage. I know this cham is pretty stressed out and maybe it's colors are not fully showing, plus I really know nothing about panthers, but I cannot find any pics of...

Thanks for the links. The 2nd one has the formula to use which is good. I was also looking to see if anyone had a different method for such a small cham. Thanks again Jim

Just wondering if anyone had a quick and easy way to dilute for a 30 gram carpet? (I have the 10mg/1kg liquid form) I used my math skills to do this last time and it was not easy to dilute down to what I needed. (I do not have a 1cc syringe so my 10cc makes it difficult) I have read in the...

Female is also sold!

Wow . . . forgot about this ad. I no longer have the male but the female is still available. Jim

You may already have this but here is the link Chad gave me: http://chameleonnews.com/?page=article&id=47 Jim

Ok thanks for the info and link. I really only have 2 that are white, the others (minus the black ones I removed) are yellowish. I guess I will wait until they turn black. Jim

I tried searching for an answer but had no luck. What color should the eggs be when incubating? (Specifically carpet eggs) Are there various shades of white? Any yellow? Other colors? I know they should not be black or dark. Anything else to look for so I will know to take out? Not...

Thank you both for your comments and advice. It makes sense about the dry eye and showers have been suggested. My gut feeling is that it is no more than this but I wanted to get other thoughts. I will work on the showers and set up a humidifier for his cage and see it that helps. If not I will...

Hey everyone, Just wanted to post this in case anyone has experienced this with one of their chams. *** I understand that it is not normal for chameleons to close their eyes during the day, and that a trip to the vet may be in order . . . Anyway, this male started to close his left eye...

Well . . . for 17 years I owned, trained and drove harness horses. Since I started school I have been an equine vet tech, equine keeper at the zoo and now work at a local pet store in the reptile department. (It sucks having to find jobs to accommodate your ever changing class schedule!) Who...

Thank you Yes, I do not like learning like this but I will know better next time. Chad said she more than likely laid them this morning. If so we are talking about 2-3 hrs (hopefully) from laying to in a container. Jim
