    Gutloading - What's bad?

Opinions vary. best advice is to provide wide variety, all individual things in moderation (no staple)

    FREE Chameleon Cage

I've got an extra (home made) cage. Anyone living around Victoria BC is welcome to it. Cost me a couple hundred to make. Asking for nothing - just want it to be used (and I want the space it takes up). Wood frame. Sturdy. about 2 foot wide, 2 foot deep, 4 foot high, sits on top of separate...

    feeders?

if you superworms and mealworms arent moving around much, you might consider a different supplier. Mine are active (except when getting ready to pupate). dubia dont climb - make sure the plastic or ceramic or glass container is more than 2 inches deep. Terrestrial isopods will also stay in...

    Out of Food?

if he can swallow it, if you are sure it wont be too large, then he can digest it You might consider having at least one type of bug that you breed, so that you always have a fall back option should you run out from store bought or there is a storm or postal strike and nothing is delivered...

    Big Dripper

some chameleons don't like to be seen when drinking, but mine ALL drink from drippers does your big dripper have a tube/hose into the cage? do the drips hit leaves? how fast/slow does it drip (have you tried letting it drip faster)?

What are some easy(and cheap) insects I can breed for a 2 month old veiled

Its not hard to breed crickets (but I think it is smelly and noisy) there are multiple types of roaches you could try I found silkworms fairly easy to breed though a bit time consuming. Blue bottle flies are worth consideration superworms are cheap and easy and more gutloadable than some think...

    Feeding Variety

Your current variety is sufficient. But adding more would be even better! silkworms would be a great addition. you can gutload on a number of things, and most chameleons really like them. Adding Butterworms would also be great. They are indeed easy to keep, but you cannot breed them for...
