I really want to add an avocado tree in my veiled chameleon enclosure. But I hear too many mixed information about adding them.

Hibiscus is more of an outdoor plant. Some user have expensive lighting systems to keep those plants and others thriving. Personally I prefer Ficus sp. tree. schefflera arboricola is actually a greater shrub to use indoors. I can’t what ever reason to have thrive in my Veiled chameleon...

Your first photos look like he hot slight burn on his back. But the newer photo suggests normal. Just his spikes look alone slightly burn. I don’t ever use heating lamp. My room Is hot in the warmer months. My guy hates anything above 80 degrees.

Money Trees are tricky. They don’t like too much water and can’t stand to be in wet conditions long term.

I would call or email them to receive photo of the Jackson’s Chameleon. You can ID the pictures here or if you have direct knowledge how to differentiate Jackson’s subspecies. Once you have the answer, and they do come as J. jacksonii. Let them know THAT particular chameleon is the one you want...

If you can spot a sponsor from the forum, you will always have high confidence to buy a chameleon via them while at the expo. Personally, just see the animal. If the eyes are clear and alert, look good in weight. It a good chance the animal will be worth to buy. Is this new addition will be a...
