You need to communicate with Fram’s and arrange for the chameleon to be shipped to your local hub. That way the cham isn’t at the mercy of weather, insect predation or getting stuck on a truck.

how do you keep ants out of a outdoor cage I live in Fl and the ants are no joke. I have an indoor cage for my cham but it sounds interesting.

I agree with what @MissSkittles said about the temps. Here is FL we have had a colder than normal past month and I had to add a basking lamp to my females cage. She was still eating well just not as active as usual. All but one of my chams normally poops once a week this time of year. IMO...
