Like bunny said, warm shower should do the trick. Once I had a baby panther do a swan dive into my full coffee cup, little warm shower and he was as good as new.

I have both scheffleras, umbrella and dwarf. My large veiled eats all new growth on umbrella with no side effects. Sources online say toxic and others say safe. If he would eat less of it terrarium would look better :)

Ficus and arbicola are good. Schefflera actinophylla or umbrela tree is another good one available at big box stores sometimes. It's less compact with bigger leaves then arbicola. My veiled devours the new growth on his.

If you had a planted terrarium with separate drainage layer and plants, you could reduce watering. But impaction, mold and flooding can be a issue, without careful husbandry. I would look into false bottom or hydroton drainage layers...

Lol been doing this for my baby nosey be. My 13 year old says I can't do it in the front yard and the neighbors look and shake their heads, saying you can have all the bugs in my lawn too. Lol good fun and babies love em. :)

I would place them in a neutral spot and watch for female to turn black, gape or hiss. If so try again a different day. If no aggressive behavior, give them a little space and breeding should commence. I've seen them leave cage and travel clear across room for a little bump and grind...

Little ones are fun to watch grow but more fragile and sensitive to husbandry deficits. Research, research.

Hey Ralph, I've used both 10" and the smaller 7" or 5". 10" seems to work better IMO, 5" or 7" has a pretty small focus area. No experience with the exo terra light holder but zoo med version is nice and adjusts pretty high. David.

Beautiful Cham. You could get a light stand, a few different versions out there. Zoomed makes a nice one or rig up some DIY sexiness.

Looks like a great start, maybe more small branches for little hands and more leaf cover to hide from uv or bright lights if he chooses.
