    Exo terra vines?

You won't—not even as a houseplant. As a large (up to 6m) tropical, it won't survive our winters. They do in the locations where it'll survive. Best we could find were seeds, but they didn't germinate.

    Exo terra vines?

...And most of the garden centres focus on stuff that is able to easily grow in our climate. I have found one place that rarely has Madagascar Jasmine, but not very often that I've been staying in contact with. Keeping reptiles isn't even that big of a thing here. In the years I've kept...

Rubber flex tie as fake vines

...your own plants for your chameleon‘s enclosure. Otherwise, there isn’t a better way to get exactly what you’re after! I love Madagascar Jasmine but I won’t even bother looking for in stores around here (I’m having a hard enough time finding an umbrella tree). I hope you get some nice growth...

Suggestions on vine plants for veiled chameleon enclosure?

Maybe this could be option, if you can find one for a good prize. Also consider, it´s not directly Veiled tested. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/madagascar-jasmin-the-perfect-living-vine.181527/

    Custom Cage So Far

It boggles me how difficult those can be to find in some parts of the world (like where I live :().

    Safe plants

Live vines. Pothos, Tradescantia zebrina, Philodendron, Madagascar jasmine... Dead grape vines culled from vintners/wineries are also good. Many hanging/trailing plants are good; mine even likes climbing spider plant 'spiderettes'.

    Your favorite flowers/flowering plants?

...philodendron, golden pothos, and several dracaenas. All will flower when mature. Another worth checking out IMO is Madagascar Jasmine if you can find them in your area. Bromeliads are colorful, but only flower once and they're done. Unfortunately, the tedium may not be over. As you're...

Just one more time, going for the ultimate build

Moi? Hardly! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I do now that you mention it—just about to bloom. They sell them here—just not within 1000 miles or so. I spent $10 USD for 10 seeds, planted 5, and none sprouted. :( I suppose I should plant the rest, but I'm a tad reluctant at this point. Well...

Madagascar Jasmin, the perfect living vine

Just because it grows in Madagascar makes it safe, but also doesn’t mean a chameleon doesn’t recognize that. My point was many “toxic” plants may cause no more than a tummy ache - and many of us use them anyway (i.e. passiflora, pothos, philodendron, etc)

    First Bio Build

Thank you! I hadn't seen that thread yet. I haven't been super active on the forums lately, been caught up with a lot of work and school. But I just read through, looks like some good information. I have lipstick vine cuttings that I am propagating right now! And will look more into getting...

    Safe plants

Several. Tradescantia zebrina, several species of Philodendron, Golden Pothos ( Epipremnum aureum ), and Madagascar Jasmine ( Stephanotis floribunda ), and any of the "trailing plants" on https://chameleonacademy.com/plants/ to name just a few.

Best way to hold up vines in a mesh cage.

First, I use only live vines—pothos, philodendron, wandering jew, Madagascar jasmine all make excellent live climbers. For "fastening" I put a piece of ceiling egg crate against the back wall, and the vines use it as a trellis. Another member built a trellis out of dowels...

    Your favorite flowers/flowering plants?

The spiderwort is an inchplant—just another name. It may do better in partial shade rather than up in the light's face. IDK if the violet will get enough light down where it is, but time will tell. Same for the polka dot plant. They're all great looking plants, but this is exactly why I was...

    36" Mass Canes at Lowe's

The frustrating things was, I went to Lowe's because their website said they had Madagascar Jasmine, with a notation that This item is unavailable for purchase online, and a box below that said, In Store Only. Great! Apparently the second box was grayed-out (not very well), but it didn't say...

Rubber flex tie as fake vines

...Live plants provide ample climbing. and the live vines ( Philodendron hederaceum ) and ( Tradescantia zebrina ) I planted are growing over a foot per month. I never did find a Madagascar Jasmine like I wanted, so Missus got some seeds online. Unfortunately I'm told it's a slow-grower. 🤷‍♂️

    Behavior Change

You could try this plant (https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/madagascar-jasmin-the-perfect-living-vine.181527/) if you can get your hands on it. It's 'hitting two targets with one shot', you get a lot of branches and foliage at once. They will love it, it's like the main highway through my...

    Exo terra vines?

...in the build. Even though I know how my vines are constructed and the outer coating is a natural substance, I know it's not like a natural vine. On a related note, do you know where to obtain Madagascar Jasmine? I've been searching for it as it's a native plant to Madagascar and a climbing...
