    My girl always gets an gular edema (puffed area around her neck) a prior to the egg laying and disappears a few days after she laid her eggs. That’s now my indicator she’s getting close to laying. Here it’s pretty noticeable, at least for me.

    Hasn’t laid yet…any cause for concern?

    ...never shows interest in her laying bin, until the day she starts digging. Before that she’s only restless and patrolling everything (always in search for the best spot).The only two indicators I get with her, is close to the laying she gets a slight gular edema and she shows no interest in food.
