    Weird coloration

looks pretty good you want an ambient temp of 70 to 75 max. if you have a fan or good ventilation than %50 humidity Is fine. Basking temp looks good it can give them a longer lifespan if you go down a degree or two on the basking temp, but 84 Is pretty much perfect. Foilage and sticks look good...

Kinyongia Fischeri General info / caresheet

Just buy it, now. Before it is bought by someone who will try to treat it like a veiled. It is montane for sure so I would think care similar to a boehmei but an expert can chime in. Not good for free range unless you have a cold place for it like a basement. And if behavior is anything like...

Kinyongia Fischeri General info / caresheet

While illegal pet trade is very common in Europe, I still HIGHLY doubt it’s true K. fischeri. Here is a link: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/fischers-chameleon-kinyongia-fischeri.22395/ Here is a caresheet from Chameleon Academy...

It could be that it´s more common in Europe then in the States. Still I can find much information about the Kinyongia fischeri. Would the care...

Never mind, I do not know a guy :P Sorry, didn't realize you were overseas. Sorry about that. Do try to hatch them, though, as you might be surprised.

DIY Aluminum Ledges and Cage Makeover

Thank you!! And yes, the state of social media is so sad. Two of the most popular chameleon accounts feature overweight chameleons. 😭 Too bad; you think that vets, of all places, would highlight obesity in chameleons... Your cage is beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your cage build as...

...on which they do photo prints. Therefore I printed the Forex with a forest background, to give it even more aesthetics. It´s a bit more expensive, here in the Netherlands, it would double your paid price. Strangest thing is, that is almost cheaper printed, then plain 🤷‍♂️ This is how it looks

    Chameleon wants to get out?

So the issue is with the compact bulbs they produce light right below the bulb. The only way you will be able to tell if they are effective is to test the basking spots with a solarmeter 6.5. Looks like yours are sitting pretty close to him so this is good as long as they are producing the right...

    Please Help #Balthazar

My exotic vet is not a fan of doing blood work on Balthazar. He has no experience with chameleons so setting up a treatment plan would be a challenge. I am looking for a chameleon expert in the Netherlands, any suggestion of course more then welcome but I doubt you can help me with that :-)

...uvb linear will go across the top. You want a 6% bulb if you get Arcadia or a 5.0 reptisun depending on what’s available to you in the Netherlands. Arcadia is more easily found here in the uk. I can’t stress how important the Uvb is. There are plenty of threads on here that talk about uvb so...

...admire the good will of everyone trying to help you and your chameleon, without any commercial intentions.
