    Gnats, Gnats, Everywhere.

...as you. I have a Katchy that catches dozens daily and have had 2 sundews in my bedroom (where chams are) plus a Venus flytrap and pitcher plant in the kitchen. I’ve treated my drains in case they were coming from there even. Yet still the little b*stards fly. Wonder if there’s a specific...

    Plants Alive! Challenge

They have a little bit of their soil around their roots, plus sphag moss, and then sheet moss over top to create a bucket. Clearly not enough, though! I'll have to repack it... maybe some of the soil washed out.

    Gnats, Gnats, Everywhere.

It really depends which flies you're having a problem with. Drosera capensis sundews will wipe out all the soil gnats your soil can manage, but fruit flies and phorid flies aren't drawn to them.

    US Kinyongia Boehmei babies

hello! Unfortunately, it is true that they cannot cohabitate, even if they are both docile. Even his babies they were stressing each other out sharing an enclosure. Eventually they will either fight, constantly breed (nice for him, not so much for her), Or just stress one another to the point...

    Breeding Feeders

...wait for the other to die which can take days :( Can't really feed it off with a dead appendage...Once dead the whole thing goes into a pitcher plant, but I can't bear to do this with live moths for some reason. Do you ever get eggs that are a radically different color? Normally they turn...

    Over sleeping

Thank you so much. I can’t seem to insert comments after your questions so… feeders —I will cut back to 5 medium crickets and a silk or 5 BSFL in the mornings. I will then reduce this to every 2nd day, right? watering—I only fog before and after all lights are off and temps have dropped but I...

    Jackson’s Cham Dehydrated?

It sounds like you are making some excellent changes. I'm happy to hear that you have added more plants, grow lights, and changed up your supplement schedule. What are your current humidity levels during the day and night? If they are correct, I wouldn't worry about if she drinks or not. As long...

And another 75 dollar Seedling :p.

...What problems was your pitcher having? Is it a Highland or Low land species? If you use a Dripper, easiest way to care for a Pitcher plant (Nepthenes) is to put your dripper right above it, and plant it in pure sphag, with some live sphag on top. They do need quite a bit of light though as...

My pitcher plant is one of the bigger plants in my viv. It the highest planted plant in the viv so it catches a full 12hrs of direct light everyday from 3 6500k T5s and 1 UVB. The planter itself sits directly below a MistKing Rain nozzle so it catches tons of tap water everyday. This is the only...
