    How old is my Jackson’s?

...chameleons get their hydration in the wild by fog banks that roll in in the early mornings. Plants - 2 pothos, monstera, Swiss cheese philodendron, polka dot plant. Awesome! I'll attach a safe plant list so you can know what other great options are if you decide to ever add more Placement...

    Bee pollen...

Don’t tel anyone, but I have all sorts of toxic plants in my enclosures. I try to temper my flare for rule-flouting when it comes to my only veiled, but even then…Keep this between us, as I’ll be crucified if the wider public found out.

    Bee pollen...

If you've got better lists... 👂 IME, they're usually good enough for the newer members here. Never heard that. Doesn't mean I don't believe it—just never came across it before. I have both, and an inchplant to boot.

    Chameleons plant issue

Pothos and vine philodendron are very similar in both appearance and care. I treat them the same. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=pothos+vs.+philodendron Did your umbrellas get a chance to dry out between waterings? Some get too much water from misting...

    Plants?

...to states, and having quite a bit of experience with Hoya as houseplants, they will get overwatered very fast and will die. A pothos or philodendron would be much better for a vivarium. You DO, however, have a beautiful plant that you could just put on a table with bright indirect sunlight...

    brasil heartleaf philodendron?

I accidentally got a Brasil Heartleaf Philodendron instead of a pothos. Is this okay to put in my young male veiled’s cage?

    Vines?

I'm assuming it's a plant. That you will put in your enclosure & the vines keep growing.

    Philodendron

AFAIK, most (not all) (house?)plants in the philodendron genus are OK, but if it'll make you lose sleep or something, I'd stick to those on that list and/or these (read plant descriptions). https://www.madcham.de/en/pflanzen-fuers-terrarium/ https://www.chameleons.info/l/safe-and-unsafe-plants/...

    Too Much Pothos?

IIRC, one species—many cultivars. Pothos can also be confused with certain philodendrons (Guilty! ) and verse-vicea—not that there's all that much difference visually. I've even seen some mislabeled in garden depts./stores.

    Branches and vines.

+1 Mass Cane ( Draceana fragrans Massaengea ). The plant at the bottom is either pothos ( Epipremnum aureum ) or a philodendron ( Philodendron hederaceum ). Know your plants: how to tell the difference between a philodendron and a pothos I have all three in my enclosure; cham makes use of all...

    Rate My Chameleon Enclosure

Pothos are great; I have one, but I have some other great plants too. Pothos, Philodendron, and Tradescantia zebrina are all great climbers/vines. Pothos and philodendron are so similar that they're often mistaken for each other. Source...

Cinnamon on plants - yes or no?

Fortunately, pothos are common, inexpensive, and relatively fast-growing. ;) There's a climbing philodendron that's often mistaken for pothos that's also a fast-growing vine. IME, the two do pretty well together—along with inch plants.

Someone give me their green thumb 🙄

So today my pothos halfway down the cage wasn't looking too hot . I did notice the soil seemed kinda dry. My Philodendron (which replaced my pothos up top) seems to be thriving though ! The picture of my pothos is what all the ones up top were doing before I swapped them out in the past couple...

    Easy plants for chameleons

IME, Yup. I had what I thought was a pothos growing up the back trellis for several months before my Missus told me it was a philodendron. It's well over 10' long now, and recently flowered (not a big deal; the flowers are tiny pink/purple, but that's species-dependent).

Post your beautiful/ideal Jackson’s enclosure please

I just cut out about 10 feet of golden pothos vine yesterday to make room for some new philodendron brandtianum and monstera adansonii that I put in there, so it is more sparse than it used to be up top.
