They are good for gutloading but I would hold off until you are 100% sure, because who knows, if its not hibiscus, it could be something toxic for chameleons. Better to be safe than sorry.

First of all, stay away from mealworms, as they can cause impaction. Superworms are a better staple as long as they are gutloaded well, same goes for any feeders you decide to use. I find that the dubia roaches worked way better for my cham and I because they never escaped, they gutload easily...

I would just keep an eye on it and keep us updated on how he is doing. Make sure you mist the plants a lot so he has plenty of chances to drink when he needs.
