Brooooo! I have been looking for you online on FB and everywhere for years!!! Hope you’re doing well, miss talking with you my friend. Drop me a DM with your number if you feel inclined, would love to catch up.
Funny you drop by, as fun as I’m having.. I so wish I would have followed through...
Update.
Pairing started last Sunday, and I’ve left them together ever since. I was anticipating 2-4 days, but we’re on day 8 now and still pairing! They sleep relatively close together, feed and bask together as well. It’s been a cool experience to watch.
Pairing has been taking place every...
Yeah I wouldn’t stress to much. Don’t offer supers anymore, he will eventually break and eat something else. Have you tried crickets at all? Roaches have been hit and miss for me but all my chams have always ate crickets. Either way, just a game of chicken to be played. You’ll win eventually. lol
How old is your chameleon?
Generally, they can go a couple weeks without food. I wouldn’t stress too much unless it gets close to around 2 weeks. My bet is your cham will break before then and eat the roaches, crickets or something besides the supers.
Thank you. We’re 8 months in or so in use and so far so good. Theirs a few thing so would do differently, but easily retrofittable. At some point, I’ll redo the doors with actual glass as the acrylic has some bowing to it. But functionality, it’s spot on and holding fantastic parameters!
Update. Great news! We had a successful pairing today. The make has been interested everytime trying, but she has not. She never got aggressive, but would certainly run away from him. She would get some really dark greens striping when she was not interested.
This morning, I noticed she has...
Nice shots, Jeremy. A greenhouse would be a great experience one day. In the dry and extreme temp changes of Idaho, it ain’t in the cards!!
Any idea where the bacteria came from?
Correct. If you only offer something else’s eventually they will break and eat. Have you tried flying bugs? They usually can’t resist flying critters. Just today, one of my males was kinda eating, but picky.. I grabbed a few house flys that were trapped in my house and he went for them very quickly.
May need a power adapter for the wall, but I think this would work. If you can get it over there. I found others before too, I’d have to look a little more .

yes you can. Look at the sticker, it’ll give you the amperage and all that. You can rake the info from the sticker and google it. I think online it was like $50 bucks or something for the power supply. Can’t remember. As long as it’s the right output, and connector, you should be fine.
I am betting it’s the power supply. I had a similar issue. Hooked it to a different power supply and fired right up. Oddly… my “bad one” started working again after about a week of leaving it off and hand misting. But I am pretty sure your power supply is the issue.
Will do! Been a busy summer, and not much to share. Got a little bummed when I lost them both which has kept me a bit hesitant. But been talking to some friends in the hobby and I think I’m ready to grab a male , do some fecal tests and hopefully get a pairing. Thanks for all the support, Jeremy!
The CB female is doing quite well. She was only 4 grams when she arrived, and as of a week or so ago she’s up to 7. So she’s now 2 grams larger than the WC female I had. Trying to decide what to do from here. We had been discussing possibly moving back to Utah so I put an instant hold on...
Welp, project is officially on hold. The male was doing…. seemingly well until about the time the female died. He went down hill quickly and died last Friday….
I got a CB female shipped in that I’ve had since that same Friday. She’s only 3 grams so lots of growing to do.
I’ll be raising her up...
Hey all. Bad news.. the female started going down hill quickly a couple weeks ago. She started roaming the bottom of the cage, and dug in the soil a bit, but never did finish digging or lay. She just couldn’t pick up weight either. I am not 100% sure what happened, but I ended up losing her...
Hello everyone. Close to 2 weeks in at this point, which I can’t even believe..
Female - doing quite well. She is feeding quite a bit but I have discovered an issue with her tongue. She is only able to shoot her tongue maybe an inch. This results in most times, she climbs into the feeder cup to...
