    Flies in crickets??

They can invade the roach habitat too…if there are any loose in your house, they will find the container you keep the roaches in and even your chameleon cages. I hope this doesn’t turn out to be the case.

    Flies in crickets??

They are awful to get rid of. They can squeeze into sealed containers in some cases and even get past the gasket on your fridge door.

    Help New veiled chameleon owner

Definitely has MBD. If it hasn’t been addressed, it needs to be corrected asap. Were his front legs bent like that when you got him?if so, you should talk to the store about it. White patch of skin.

The yellow spots could be a number of things…bacterial infection (abscess), fungal infection, nutritional deficiencies, and trauma. I don’t think the white spot is likely a burn…but I could be wrong. I wish I had a better answer for you. Is it growing/spreading in any way?

Try tucking a cricket head first into his mouth while he’s drinking and his mouth is opening and shutting to drink. He will either eat it or spit it out….but they usually eat them.

    Deadly Chameleon Myth series

I was never curious about the formic acid, even though I knew it was found in ants, until today…and your mention of it made me wonder what other insects might have formic acid in them. There’s always something new to learn about! I’ve never seen a chameleon target an ant either…but I only have...
