Cup feeding.. I need all of the helps.

She's a juvenile veiled. No hatch date but pretty small. (about the length of my middle finger, maybe a little longer nose to vent). Her mouth width is about the size of medium crickets..

    Humidity?

Coconut shred does pretty good at not molding. I'm wondering if I put the substrate down, cover it with window screen, then put down a layer of printer paper to catch poops or pees? The substrate will then only serve to hold humidity. I'm thinking of removing some of her branches and buying...

Cup feeding.. I need all of the helps.

How do I cup feed, can I use like a dollar tree plastic cup, drill holes in the side and hang it on the side of the enclosure? Will the crickets escape? Do I just put enough for one days feeding? How many crickets is appropriate for one day? Do I need to drill holes in the bottom for drainage...

    Nature Zone Total Bites

I didn't get the total bites as an all in one product, my pet store doesn't sell any kind of cricket food. I tried fruit. But I'm afraid my chameleon isn't getting all the nutrients she needs.

    Humidity?

I was thinking of that, or a humidifier.. I was also wondering if I could put coconut shred (it's what I use for my ball python) in a mesh bag, or a bag made of cheese cloth, on the floor of the enclosure. She won't be able to ingest the substrate, my only concern would be crickets chewing...

    Humidity?

My tank isn't complete screen, but it's got enough to lower the humidity. I put a few ice cubes on top of the tank, and bowls underneath to raise humidity levels.

    Strange but important.

Another concern a have is that my house is on stilts, so it doesn't have very much support. The entire house wobbles when we do laundry. It wouldn't surprise me if the entire house came down during an earthquake.

    Humidity?

My tank isn't all screen. It's got a 6 inch strip of screen on one side, a vent on one side and a screen top..

    Strange but important.

What do I do with Charma in the case of an earthquake? I live in California, and with the dry weather we've been having were bound for a big earthquake soon. What do I do with Charma in the case of a large earthquake? If you've never been in an earthquake, they're pretty crazy. Big ones can...

    Humidity?

With the screen sides it is harder than hell to keep humidity anywhere where it should be. The humidity for me drops in an hour from "tropical" to "desert" conditions, so I mist.. And hour later I mist again. Is there any tricks or tips to raising base line humidity without restricting air flow?

    Crickets... Crickets everywhere!

With any reptile you want to remove prey items that aren't eaten after about 20 minutes, and up to an hour if you're watching closely. I feed charma only a few prey items at a time.

    Nature Zone Total Bites

I still offer citrus once a week and a small chunk of Apple once a day. I pretty much have to order everything online, and all that has to wait until the first of the month. Do any of you have a website you like to order from?

    Too much space?

    I could do that.

    Too much space?

Well, the sides are the support. It's like a rectangle of wood, with doors in the front and a thin piece of ply wood on the back. So if I removed a side, it would fall apart.

    Charma fell! Freaking out.

She's walking just fine, been watching her arms, legs and tail, no lumps or abnormalities. It looked like she had a light bruise on her side, but it's not there today. Could have been dirt?

    Too much uvb?

I'm not sure. I'll have to check the bulb tonight after her bed time.

    Too much uvb?

Even if she touched the screen, it's not hot enough to burn her. I'm more concerned about too much uv rays, but I guess if they live in trees, they get a lot

    Too much uvb?

They're nothing fancy. Just a plain uvb bulb, it doesn't even give off much heat.
