    Veiled egg question

She has definatly been breed. (witnessed the FULL hook-up atleast 6 times) The yellow color seems to be what is confusing me. I have read that in the wild, some stages of growth can actually stop until conditions are right. (not sure where I read it and this was about 15 years ago) With...

    My shoes are falling apart

First comment or thought would be... Get a new pair.:) Second would be, you would need multiple pairs to test your experiment. 1. does wetness effect the deterioration process? 2. does temp effect the deterioration process? What are your thoughts?

    Carnivorous Plants in Chameleon Enclosures

Not sure about other chameleons, but my Veileds love veggies and when I tried some Sundew and Neps. They were eaten within a few hours so the only plants I keep with them are ones that are intended for food. few of my plant babies.. :)

    Turtle people, HELP

If you set up a pen in your yard and keep it protected, the injury will heal on its own (put a little antibiotic cream on to protect and help heal). Just make sure he/she doesn't get to hot and has a nice place it can burrow. The shell did its job by protecting the body inside. :) Get some nice...

    He ESCAPED!!

Lets just hope he stays calm, but puffing would be okay because it means he is alert and is reacting to a bigger creature(protecting itself). Remember, it would be like KING KONG walking around us and going in for a grab every now and then. I might get a little puffy if that happened. :)

    He ESCAPED!!

Sorry but I have to ask. What does having him for a week have to do with not holding him? Puffing up is pretty normal anyway. :)

    Saltwater tank question?

Saltwater is awesome. I have 3 tanks running and mainly have seahorses at the moment. I use to have octopus, cuttlefish and frogfish. It might be a lighting issue and temp thing going on. Can you give us your light situation and tank perameters? Snails are always good to have. How long has...
