Can the substrate in the laying bin be just organic potting soil, or does it need to be sand? will a sand soil mix suffice? Im collecting recipies if anyone is sharing.

I feed her crickets almost daily. She could crunch a dozed large crickets daily no problem. Her basking temps upper 80s lower 90s. Just a small tray with sand will do?

My little panther female is about 6 months old as of now. Is it true that they will lay eggs even if they have never bred? If so when should I start to prepare her cage for laying "false" eggs?

I chose a Sambava because of the yellows, orange, and greens. They look like a crayola factory threw up on them. Plus they are so beautiful, but you really dont see alot of people working with them. Actually Ambilobe or a Nosy be is next on my list :D
