Thanks - I went to the link and checked it out, but I have rec'd many reptiles via Fed-Ex: Numerous frogs, my beardie and a few chams. Now I'm even more confused! I will call the 800 number, and I've also been searching the Missouri Conservation Department website, and still haven't come up...
Do you have to have an actual license to ship reptiles to do so? I don't have a license and the one and only time I shipped some geckos (to California) they got "delayed" by the California Conservation Department and although they let them in, the guy had to go to their office and pick them up...
I have a practically new (in perfect condition) copy of: Stump Tailed Chameleons: Miniature Dragons of the Forest that I purchased for $65 plus shipping. Have decided not to try my hand at pygmies, so am selling the book. I am asking $50 and free shipping. Thanks.
I have a captive hatched female red-jeweled rudis that I have reluctantly decided to let go. She is approximately 18 months old, very healthy, and a very sweet girl. I am asking $125 plus shipping, which will be through Ship Your Reptile. Contact me if interested. Thank you.
You don't have to "premix" anything. It already as enough moisture in it to start them out. I check on them every couple of weeks and put my finger all the way down to the bottom of the container. If it doesn't seem like there is any moisture, I add water in the corners of the container and I...
I'm using Hatchrite for some veiled eggs right now, but you definitely have to check the Hatchrite every few weeks to make sure it keeps its moisture, because it does dry out. But, so far, I've been pretty happy with it. Good luck!
I went to the Kansas City Pet Expo today and happened to stop at a "carpet cleaning" booth and eyed their sprayers. Although I have drip systems in all my cham cages, I always do manual mists in the a.m. and p.m. I have spent a few dollars on all different kinds of sprayers, but have to say...
I don't have a Jacksons, but four weeks ago when I had to have emergency surgery my husband "lost" one of my carpet chams. Granted, he was taking care of 7 chameleons that are 100% "mine" so I couldn't really yell at him. He was roaming in my reptile room for two days. I told hubby to leave...
Way to high! You can buy a very nice captive hatched veiled from members here, or some of the site sponsors, pay shipping, and still not spend that much. I would definitely buy from someone here before buying from a pet store.
I couldn't watch until the end. I would love to find someone who knows how to track these jerks and turn them into the Humane Society. I also notice that "leaving comments has been disabled" for the video. I have a nice comment I'd like to leave.
Those babies are amazing looking (as well as mom and dad)! They are so cute and your pictures make you want to reach out and touch the little guys!
(I also fancy the beautiful rock on your finger!!!)
Since I've so many issues with my crickets dying, I ordered silkworms. I got them in today - they are kind of scary looking! Does anyone know if they bite? I normally hand feed a couple of my veileds phoenix worms, but I was too afraid to even try to hand feed these things! I put them on the...
As I'm not the only one having this issue, I don't think its a matter of the crickets being exposed to something during shipping. As I've ordered from this company for quite a while, are there any other suppliers that anyone would recommend? Tried Flukers, and not a fan, but any others? Thanks.
That's about the size of the 4,000 quantity I ordered - 3/8" - and this is the size that it is affecting the most. And yes, when I have been cleaning them, I find dozens that seem to be "paralyzed." They can only partially twitch their legs, but can't properly move. These were also ordered...
