    The cocoons will hatch if they sense a photo period of 12+ hours. Make sure you place the container where they can sense the light change. I know they are buried and they are inside the cocoon but it works. Furthermore you can keep them in a tupperware container with pine shavings this will work...

    Using bamboo

    You can drill holes at the end of each side of the bamboo. Slide a wire (galvanized or stainless so it doesn't rust) and then attached it to the screen by twisting the wire. Make sure you sand the bamboo down so it is not slippery as it can be when it gets wet. good luck

    Thanks to both. A pair hatched. Spectrals usually lay two eggs at a time. The other two eggs are not due for another 60 days. It is incredible but only two days later and they already look larger than in the pics. I will try to post some more pics later.
