This is the same website I came across :)
I was curious of anyone has had any success with this, and what peoples experiences are so far with this technique.
Thanks.
Also I have not seen her eat a cricket and I am unsure if she has eaten or not in the last two days (a few escaped) so...
So, I have heard a few mentions of being able to control a female veilds cage to prevent or slow down her egg production...
I was only able to come across one website that gave a little more information but I am weary since I can only find ONE.
Does anyone have information on this, if it is...
I am now even more confused! They look so much bigger than her. I need to take a picture of her on my hand, I need to find a similar picture of someone else's.....
Ah.
They are adorable. So from my pictures I think my baby may be some where between 6-8 weeks old. She looks smaller than yours and her veil is so tiny right now... Do you agree?
Haha I wish some one told me about the melting two weeks ago, I partially melted the background on our FL trip because of the basking lamp, oh well!
I am actually considering updating the background to a natural wood/bark wall for the rest of her time in this cage, then possibly getting some...
My issue is I have three pet stores here. One that sells 99% fish only, One that I am weary of because of housings and puppy mill dogs, and PetSmart. So far the best has been petsmart, but all they carry are different sized meal worms, crickets and wax worms, so I am in a bit of a bind, will...
I am not sure the said somewhere around two months but she is a veiled. They have had her for just about two weeks at most, and the usually get them around 4 -6 weeks old.
The white cup? Crickets so they can be watched and dont harass her.
One question, any other food suggestions I have meal...
So as some of you have already read my previous girl passed away due to issues beyond my control. I spoke to the herp again today and they were agreeing with the neurological issues. They said towards the end she was gripping her side with a back foot almost pinching herself, she was biting at...
It is hot and humid here in NC, but I also get snow in the winter. Our summers are fulled with humidity and highs in the low 100's but as a far as my home goes it is relativity low humidity except what my fish tanks and plant produce but temperature the all time high it maybe 76.... So right now...
Alright so big question, how to I keep them warmer in the winter if I can not use a infrared light at night? I can not keep a white light on day and night the poor baby wont sleep... Our home gets very cold in the winter well below 65 and to keep our house above that our heating bill will be...
I do not think that was the case, I think more or less she was just pissed at the world. TO get her out of her cage we have to remove her and her plant then she was ok, but she was VERY upset, biting, hissing, drab colors and everything at the moment i took her picture
I would love to get one from a member or a sponsor, but right now my husband wants to take this new baby they are giving us, so I am going to check him/her out this afternoon. The baby will get a new cage but it will still have a glass front and back as I want her to be more protected than just...
Like I said though she was fantastic when I got her but it went down hill fast, but they had her in all the wrong setups since she was so small they didnt want to risk a fall so it was poor set up. That is what is good about this new one, they have only had her for two weeks compared to mine...
Well when I got her she looked fantastic! No bowed legs or arms, great color, straight spine, great hold... even the last day I had her she had a great hold and was calm when she was climbing on me, she really was a great girl but a bit of misfortune.
She never got lethargic just could not...
