I am trying to decide if a heat lamp is even necessary in my enclosure seeing as how it holds a general temp of 70°-85° witch from my understanding is the perfect range for a panther cham is there another reason a heat lamps would be needed that I'm not aware of?

Awesome definitely like that light setup more i have alot of real plants that need alot of light and this will do the job much better and I love how the timer is built in
planned on putting up some vines but ill wait to do that until i figure out my basking spot and all that but so sfar all the transplants and splits are looking good none are dying so im happy
The light in there now is just for the plants I haven't got everything else yet but there will be a top on it and a better light set up and the enclosure itself is red cedar and poplar dowels for climbing
can anyone tell me if this type of palm is safe for my cham? i believe it is a areca or butterfly palm
