Would love to know that too...our veiled is 4 1/2 months and weighs 54 grams. how much does yours weigh?

We have 6 live plants and 2 fake vines, we have the fake vines for the top of the cage, where it is nearly impossible to put real plants. He munches on all the live plants but never tried to eat the fake ones. He enjoys hanging out in them a lot.

We just bought the 24" Dual light hood from DYI Cages and we love it!! Our cage is 24x24x48 and the one 5.0 we had before just wasn't enough. We are using a Repti glo 2.0 for the plants and visual light and a Repti glo 10.0 for UVB. Our cham looks much brighter and healthier now. Below is...

Does anyone have a update on the panther cham from the pet store in long island that was in such bad shape? it breaks my heart to think that little guy is still there...

I would probably try to switch up his diet a bit with silkworms, hornworms or superworms. I have read that meal worms are more empty shells than anything as they don't have as much nutritious value, superworms are probably better for him. I have a 4 month old veiled and he loves his silkies and...

I will leave them in my enclosure, Bob seems to like them, they have been there for about a month now and had no problems. He likes eating them too once in a while. Thanks for all your help.

Thank you Dgray. I did search the forum but found blogs that stated they are safe and a couple of blogs that stated they are toxic, just wanted to double check. thanks for the info!

@ Elizadolots..below is a picture of the croton plant, it is also called Codiaeum variegatum. i love them, they are cheap, easy to take care of and very colorful. Our cham seems to love it too...I read some more and am pretty sure they are safe, they are just not included in the safe plant lists...

We have read posts here that state they are poisonous and posts that say they are not and ok to use. Please let us know, we have one in our enclosure...thanks!

Nice! Ours is 4 months and his colors are starting to come out more...can't wait for him to show all his colors. Like the plants on the screen door idea...might just have to copy that :D
