Lil nasty...he is definitely calmer...male veileds are very territorial and i have learned that closing him in a cage just makes them more aggressive. he was never really mean but he used to run away from us as soon as we opened the door, now he is way more relaxed, eats from our hand, and...
yes he does...and that makes it that much harder to find him in the morning or when we get back from work lol...chams are pretty damn good at what they do!
It has not even been three months yet and Bob is already taking over..lol...we keep extending his set-up, we just love seeing him climbing around, we added a nice big ficus on our balcony so he has a sunny place to hang. Hope you guys like it...:D
definitely the sooner the better....maybe start by hand feeding him so your cham understands you are the food source...it will be much harder for him to get used to you handling him if he gets older without ever being handled.
It is only the second day that he has been refusing to eat, I know it is common for chamleons to do that sometimes, I was just wondering after how many days I should start to worry?! He is active and seems otherwise healthy, we give him crickets, superworms, hornworms, silkworms...and he had...
We have the same problem with bob! We leave his cage open and a have a plant set-up outside the cage so he can free range, but some times we come home and he is on top of the cage looking like he doesnt know his way back in....who knows how much time he spent up there?!?! Need to figure...
Luckily my friend at work took care of him, she has a gecko and turtles so she is used to dealing with crickets and such...it is not an easy task to find someone to take care of your cham thats for sure!
We just got a back from a little mini vacation (first time away from bob) and we were so excited to see our little guy again! it is amazing how attached you get to them!! To our surprise the hornworm that was in the state of changing for a while now finally turned into moth - and a giant one at...
We bought a pod of silkworms online and now bob decided not to like them anymore...so the worms used up all the food that wa sin the pod and we were wondering what else we can feed them, do they eat anything? we feed our crickets carrots, strawberries, bell peppers, zucchini, potato, apple...
Jann..is it ok to have the Repti Sun 5.0 and the Repti Sun 2.0? I have a dual light hood and think the Repti Sun 2.0 brightens up the enclosure more, the room where bob is in does not get much sunlight.
