i would say no, as they react to certain colors...sometimes chams get stressed out when they see aggressive colors like red. but im no expert by any means.
You said you dust the crickets only once week...you should do this every feeding, you can also dust the worms a bit, but I would suggest giving him more calcium, does he get vitamin d3 every two weeks? how about multi vitamin?!

looks like you have a veiled chameleon their color sprectrum is not as broad as panthers. females also usually don't get as colorful. my male veiled shows yellow, green, turqoise, black, and a little bit of orange.
I actually just got home and found him like this..so i am just hoping he doesnt fall and if he does he falls into his pothos..lol...im sure he will be fine though :D
