    odd behavior to me...im confused

Thank you for the help. I am so nervous for the day that she starts looking for that particular place to lay her eggs. Her cage is so large(6ft h -4ft-3ft) it will be extremely difficult not to stress her and make her egg-bound. Will the fall she took affect her egg making tummy?

    odd behavior to me...im confused

I dont think she is gravid yet. She shows this constant orange spotting. She just does laps, i wouldnt call it searching. Its like she knows what shes doing. I havent seen her drink, and i've cut down on the misting, so my initial guess was that she is looking for more water? However, she didnt...

    odd behavior to me...im confused

Today when i went to peek in at my 5-6 month old female veiled she was headed towards the bottom of the cage at a fast pace. I remained motionless and just observed her for a while. By fast pace, i mean, the sort of sprint that they do when they see food...only faster. She looked like she was on...

    Gravid?

My female veiled showed me her colors for the first time today. They were extremely blue and looked something very similar to this picture (not her). A few have commented on the possibility of her being gravid. She hasnt been drinking as much and i cant tell if shes just fat from eating everyday...

    Veiled dropped eggs today

It's said that some people keep them in a drawer. You know those heating pads were suppose to use for roaches? That should keep a nice constant 80. Or you could just leave them in the sand, some people try that because the eggs out in the wild have temperature drops and night and seasons. Try...

Thank you everyone! That is all i needed! Escapees wont be a problem, I'm switching over to roaches completely. Besides, they will be kept in a outdoor closet that is attached to my apartment and has the same temperature.

    Quick Question Please Help

Try looking at petco and petstores that specialize in marine fish. I got my tube bulb really cheap from "atlantis" a store that specialized in fish. Sometimes the chameleons are dark from the lack of UVB, i posted something about molly being dark and someone suggested a tube UVB instead of...

    Quick Question Please Help

I had the same situation with my molly. She was in a 10 gallon glass cage too. She stopped being active so i built her a cage from wood and cage screening at Lowes. It could be that she is seeing her reflection though. Chams also like to be above eye level. The reason she is dark could be that...

General Personality Differences of Jackson, Panther and Veiled (Just a Discussion)

I've heard about panthers being more relaxed and chill and i have a female veiled and she just seems uptight and nervous. I have also heard that males are a little easier to handle. By handle i mean in a vet situation. I have to take molly to the vet next week and I'm terrified of her because...
