So i finally broke down and actually handled him for the first time today. i'm not going to handle him unless i absolutely have to. But while i had him out i figured i'd try for a picture and this was the best i could do. I think he's coloring up rather nicely.
i agree that some sound a little negative, but it's not the intention of most people on here to come down on someone. they're just trying to help the owner have the greatest chance for chameleon survival and health, therefore creating a win win. Personally i think it's a pretty good measuring...
congratulations. i too recommend buying a cage, but then again my cricket cages look like bad vacation bible school projects so i couldn't imagine what it would look like if i tried to build a chameleon cage
yeah, here i was thinking he was growing kinda slow and not showing much color. I think he was a little younger than I originally thought when i first got him. If i had to guess, he's probably about 3 inches or so snout to vent, add another 2-3 for the tail
wow, i dont think my mom would have ever even got through the first part. She would have probably just given in. kids never cease to amaze me and i'm not that far out from being one.

Well i popped a few pictures today. None of them were great, but that's life. 1st, I took the picture only to discover the lens was dirty. 2nd, I took the picture but the auto function kept the flash from going off. By then he had ducked into his plant and there was no getting a good...

mine is about the same age as yours and my schedule goes as follows. Remember though, that everyone has their own way of doing things and if the end result is the same(healthy chameleon), then so be it.
