    panther basking temps

Not sure why they would tell you that as it is not good information. At least you found us here and can give the proper husbandry to your cham.

Introducing Costa new male Noki Baby

Very nice! I have a Noki baby boy from this clutch as well. My guy is already showing a fair amount of green and some reds on him. Mine hatched on the 12th of May.

    panther basking temps

Follow the care sheet! Keep it around 82 degrees. The care sheets have been developed by very good handlers and breeders of chameleons over MANY years. When there are health issues they are always brought forward to see if husbandry follows them.

panther wont eat anything but crickets

Silkworms are much better for the cham than the horn worm. Try the silkies first and see how he does. My little guy liked silkies for 2 days and then stopped eating them. I will try again when he is a little bit older.

    1 Month Veiled Chameleon Napping

Do not use any light at night time. Chams need darkness in order to get proper sleep. Your temps can get down into the 50's no problem and it will not hurt the chameleon at night. What are you using for your basking bulb? Why are you getting the fogger? Your humidity is already in the...

    Different Types of Worms

That blog is great information. I might try getting some Phoenix worms and see how Nimh does with them.

    Cricket Virus

That really sucks. I have read though that the virus that is going around affects banded crickets as well. I hope they do not get infected as well at your supplier.

    quick question regarding screen climbing

He might be getting the darker colors in order to soak up some more of those good rays from the lights.

    New here :)

I agree with Jann and also here is the very specific Veiled Care Sheet which is above and beyond the one that she posted for you. They are both great resources and we highly suggest that you follow them. Once you get your cham and you come on here asking for help they will always be referenced...

    Setting up the Lighting

That Arcadia setup from Todd is absolutely amazing. I have a T8 5.0 bulb before with a T8 plant light, but this new T5-HO setup from Todd just blows it out of the water. I am so glad that I did my research on lighting and could not be happier. I even bought the Arcadia book about lighting and...

Best cage to buy for adult veiled chameleon??

I second both LLL and DIY Cages. They are both great companies. That is where my next cage will come from.

    Magnetic rock ledge feeder cup

Mine will drain right to the bottom of the cage. I made a screened bottom and there is a tray that catches all the drain water so I am good to go.
