Thanks for the compliments.......everyone. :) We have truly been blessed to have such wonderful grandchildren, and doubly blessed to have them so close to us. I guess, being a part of the "Appalachian" culture has its good points and one of them is that typically..........we all live fairly...
Our Grandaughter (Aaralyn) is constantly wanting to hold what she calls our "baby dinosaur". He doesn't mind and she is very careful with him when I get him out for a "handling session"...........I couldn't help myself today when her and her older brother got in from school.
I tease her about...
And this too..........shall pass. :)
When I was in college, during a summer quarter (which is only 8 weeks long) I took Micro-Biology, Chemistry II, and College Algebra.
DANG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What was I thinkin' ???? Those type classes take a lot of time, but you will be through them soon...
No.......absolutely no offense taken. When I took mythology in college it was a "whirlwind" of a class...........we covered so much in such a little amount of time. I just made a mistake.........and all you did was correct it. :)
Looks like a male to me. :)
Now.........what kind of a recurve is that standing against the wall in the corner in the background ??? I wouldn't leave it standing like that very long, it will ruin the limb.
LOL.......he cruises his cage like that for the rest of the day, just looking for more "victims". Oh and by the way........I like your avatar. Marvin has always been one of my favorite Looney Tune characters. You know........with his "space mod-uuuuuuuuuuu-laaaaaaaaaaa-tor" and all. :)
He is kinda on the "lazy" side........he will sit in one spot and pick everything that is within reach off, then he goes on the "hunt".......heck, he keeps hunting even when there aren't any crickets left in the cage. Thanks again for the suggestion and the compliment on the pics.
Well...........I couldn't wait until "later in the week". Here are a couple of shots that I took with the camera set on "action mode". The colors and detail isn't as good as I like to see..........BUT........I did actually stop the tongue in action. I'll keep working on it..........and a real...
Thanks David....:)
I tried the video on the camera's but noticed that the "lighting" sucked even worse when in video mode. I'm gonna play with the camera and some settings on it and see what I can come up with later this week. Cool video, by the way......much better lighting than I can get in...
Well thank-you very much, for both the compliment and the suggestion. We actually have three digital camera's, an older Sony with a Zeiss lens and two Panasonics with Leica lenses on them......an FZ-30 and a FZ-100. These were taken with the FZ-100. You are correct, they all have a "motion"...
lindseymeder16,
Now......that's what I'm talkin' about :D I can't seem to get my "timing" in tune as well as yours is. It seemed I was either to early.........or mostly, to late.
SonTigerPantherCham,
Thank-You for the compliment.........I can see a little more color everytime he...
I was feeding our 4 month old Ambilobe earlier today and I've been trying to get a "decent" photo taken inside with Flash catching a cricket. Dang, thats not an easy thing to do.........indoors. I must have took 25 pictures and they were either to blurry, or the lighting wasn't right while using...
