Thank you guys! And I did! They didn't seem to care:( each moment Tht goes by she just looks happier! Even starting to show a bit of white! They said she may also be carrying eggs. :( I sure do hope not! As she continues to cool down I'm actually no longer upset about not getting a panther...
Saved this little lady from the pet store. They've had her since she was 8 weeks until now. And have kept her with a male the whole time... She stayed black and orange and hissing the whole time. Even though I had my heart set on a panther, I wanted to give this girl a home! Since she's such a...
I will for sure!! I volunteer in the morning at the wildlife centre here, then I'll go straight out in my dirty smelly scrubs to get her!! I'll set everything up completely tonight too!
Thank you guys so much!! I will get the poor girl tomorrow! They said she's about 9 months right now. And that she may be carrying a clutch.. Wish me luck!
Thank you so much! I'll go back tomorrow and get her. Poor girl:( it just broke my heart because she is so extremely sweet. And the whole time she's in that cage she is just black and hissing:( I guess they've been like that for months too:(

I am all set to order a baby panther chameleon...

I have a really smal reptile water dish raised up in some of the branches in my terrarium. I put the smallest bubbler available on market in it so it's moving and not still (a bubbler made for fish tanks). Change the tip monthly and clean the bowl morning and night.
I just have a coil bulb right now for UV. Once he's bigger and I upgrade to a custom home for him I will be getting the fluorescent lighting! Thank you:)
If he was kept under a heating duct (very dry area) with dry cage he is probably very dehydrated. Mist the cage as frequently as you can. If he doesn't start to show any signs of recooperating (trying to eat/climbing/brighter colors) I'd take him to the vet asap. The best thing to do right now...
Most on here recommend a multivitamin biweekly, calcium without D3 daily and calcium with D3 biweekling. Where he didn't have a light you should give him some extra D3 maybe.. He should have a 5.0 UBA light and a basking light. Also are you misting the cage? That the only way a chameleon will...
Thank you! Sorry for posting that twice.. It didn't show up in my computer for some reason :s thank you everyone for all of this information!! It's beyond helpful! Once I create a drainage system I will post pictures!
