I like him best when hes fired up because his neck area become really orange red and around his eyes as well. He has a great appetite and already loves all the feeders i've tried. He likes me best when i have a hornworm with me!
I got a new baby Panther a couple of weeks ago and he has settled in nicely so i wanted to share some pictures with you guys. I got him from a member here :) deerharvester, who has been amazing and helped out wonderfully and provided great service! So i just wanted to say thank you! And here are...
I have a porch type thing that is attatched to the house but part of it is screen in, i want to keep them their during the day since the sun faces it for most of it, and they would technically be double caged- no animals (other than small lizards) get in. And their is a nice breeze for most of...
I moved my panthers light up to a different part of his cage so he can get more shade if needed but can bask if he wants to. He loves the sun, and my girl still just sits there she loves it!!
If you get a show, I CALL DIBS!:D:p
Its normal for them not to eat for a few days. Continue to introduce her to food until she is ready to eat sometimes it just takes a few days. Think about it she just got ripped out of her environment and now this weird looking animal is putting her in a new environment. Gotta give time to...
I have a leopard gecko. He is very inexpensive- bought him at a reptile convention for 20-30 bucks- he is very friendly and loves food and is easy to take care off. He has a glass cage and a heating pad a few hiding holes. You can get one from your local pet shop (I am sure it depends on where...
I live in sunny Florida and it is still nice enough for me to let my chameleons play in the sun. Every other day i leave the window open for 3-6 hours (or until the sun goes away from my window). Both my chams will just sit in direct sun light for hours and not move an inch. I don't turn on...
I am making her laying bin tomorrow once I get the supplies. She just had an xray a month ago thats why I was so shocked to be honest. Thank you for your help!
Alright, i have a female veiled she is a little over 1 year old but very very small. For the last couple of days i noticed she looked a little bigger and is a medium green. She doesnt go in her cage but to eat so i havent seen her on the ground and she hasnt been on the ground in my room either...
They both have had about 6 since the little guy came in :) he likes to climb onto my head and he runs around on my bun and he is super excited and every day i open the window (since its no longer cold) and he just sits in the sun for hours i think he likes florida weather. I finally have enough...
Sounds good i am definitely going to cut back... i dont want them to only eat supers! So far both mine are still going crazy over their crickets im just waiting on my shipment of hornworms and calciworms to try and get those feeded to them to spice up their little lives!
In my opinion not any one supplement is good. I use fruits and veggies and a store bought gutload and I use clueless calcium stuff and water chrystals. I think you need to find the best of 3 or 4 things. Think of it as a puzzle you need more than 1 piece to finish it.
I currently have 2 chams a 1 year 3 month old veiled and a 3.5 year old panther. Both are currently being fed on crickets until the rest of my bugs come in. I bought some super worms locally as snacks and so they get used to my hand (my veiled is already used to me) so I've been feeding them 2...
I looked online and only found 1 company with Florida legal (Discoids) but they are mixed and both my chams are small so i don't want bug nasty roaches that no one can eat.
But i will keep an eye out maybe miracles happen!!
Thank you! :)
