Do any of you used phoenix (calci) worms? I have two pots with about 300 worms split between them. I won't be giving them to my cham again for a while and wondered if anyone would want them and just pay postage on them? I don't really want them to go to waste.

    Halogen house lights for basking?

I wouldn't dim it anyway. Is there any point to dimming them?

Mine already didn't like me so, I might as well just let go of the fact that he'll ever be my friend :(

    Halogen house lights for basking?

Awesome. I have his linear UVB light. Saw the vet today and he needs extra heat so swapping his basking for halogen now I know it'll be fine (thank you) and using his ceramic for extra heat on the other side of his viv ^.^

    Halogen house lights for basking?

Hey all, I hear a lot about folks using house lights for basking spots, just wondering if the ones in the attached photo would work? If not, can someone in the UK direct me to any that will? These are all they had in the supermarket, I figure I can take them back if they are wrong.

My chameleon hates me and i really need help!

I have the large extra tall exo terra glass with a bioactive bottom and it's great. My little guy seems to dislike me too though. I think some chams are just shy and don't like attention. I basically have to keep mines vivarium covered at all times because just seeing me move around gives him...

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

I didn't even know it was possible to get one manually. Sounds like it would be stressful for them. I figured something is better than nothing. He didn't bask at all yesterday so that makes sense. I didn't really think about it. Thank you for the reassurance. He did seem a bit better today. I...

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

Had some further development today. He's passed some faeces and it has a couple of undigested Phoenix/calci worms in it. His urate was good. His faeces also smelt a little bad. Shall I lay off of the worms for a while? He also seemed to have a stuck sperm plug. I carefully wiped at it with a Q...

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

Boost. Anyone? He's not moved at all today. His colours aren't as dark but he's not once moved, eaten, nothing. His eyes have been open and alert all day. Do I need to worry?

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

I'm also trying to find some suitable branches for more horizontal walk ways near the top. Or I may just get another exo terra moss vine and zip tie it across.

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

Here are the photos. I've struggled to get the ones of him because he doesn't want to be seen. I've added a normal house lamp on top of his viv for the time being. I'm wondering if his tank is not getting enough heat and again for the winter I am thinking of getting a second ceramic at 50watt...

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

Is there anything you could advise me to try.? I'm going to call the vets tomorrow to see if the specialist is at a different branch, if he is, I'll call that branch and try to get him in there, if not, there is his appointment on Tuesday. I'm worried sick. He really perked up and then...

    Dark coloured, lethargic, please help.

Not that I saw. He's been covered to help with his stress. When I had a peak around 5.30pm he looked as if he could've been asleep or he could've just have been looking in a different direction. He has been in his sleep spot since around 5pm. I'll keep a closer eye on him tomorrow. Is it...

    Nosy boraha or Masoala?

I mean, he doesn't seem stressed. He patrols his viv, basks, eats, drinks etc.

    Nosy boraha or Masoala?

I have a cat but she's completely uninterested in him to be honest. I don't have feeders in constantly. Dubia are cup fed and taken out late afternoon along with any locusts. I'm wondering if the placement of his viv could be a stress. It's not right in front of the window but it is facing it...

    Nosy boraha or Masoala?

I got him from a store in my home town in the UK. Stores get a bad rep but these guys are excellent. He's 6 months old. He was bred in Germany. I haven't seen his lineage but I might ask the guys if they have access to information and photos on them. I'd love to see.
