Hi... my boyfriend really wants to put something on the bottom of the via to cover the plant pots etc and make it look a bit more... jungley.
im under the impression that anything on the bottom, substrate stuff, is really bad.
any advice...? Im fed up with being the one fighting against...
He's just over 6 months and had him for about a month. yeah i do hand feed him. he was fine when we first got him. happy to come out etc. now he hates me!
Sorry im quite new to all this too... my only advice would be UVB and lower temps. Hopefully someone more senior can help a bit more now...!
Good luck.
Wow he was beautiful. sorry for your loss. any pictures of your current one? if napoleon looks anything like him ill be very very proud. like i said he's shedding at the moment and he looks like a super hero with a white cape!
Um.... i copy all my pictures from Facebook... you can copy the url and put it in picture url bit above you reply box... don't know the BEST way but thats what i do.
First thing would be to get a UVB lamp. They need regular UVB to keep them healthy and producing all the things they should be naturally. I have a hoehnelli and he is on a regular 12 hr UVB cycle now. (thanks to help from camimom).
How often do you spray her? can you put up a pic?
Well im actually in the UK, so prob going to be a bit different... :s but i looked up insurance and there are some companies that do but its about £15 a month to cover up to £1000 vet bills... not sure how much ill need it!
Anyone know how much vet bills cost roughly for chameleons these days? is it worth getting pet insurance?
Late happy new year to you all and all your chameleons by the way :)
x
I have a helmeted chameleon and was wondering what other plants i can get safely for him. I've only got 2 Schefflera (umbrella plants) at the moment, a fake vine and some branches etc... what to make his house loverly.
So glad to hear you say that :) set up a dripper earlier and he's been drinking like mad. thanks for all your help. and he is cute isn't he!! :) Im proud!!
