My dad said when he was a child in the philippines, him and his friends would poop in the downstream right before the waterfall where the kids were playing in the water just under the waterfall... ur story of scooter made reminded me of his story. haha...
Hm... aren't orchids a high maintenance plant? I'm thinking that orchid's stems are pretty fragile or small... So... if my cham were to climb on it, it would just break... The flowers are nice on it, but they don't really last that long as well.
Plastic plants or vines are suitable, but I would choose live plants over plastic. At first i was using ficus plants but then i found out my cham wasn't eating that many crickets, they were all just hiding underneath and around the bottom of the pot of the ficus. So I switched to plastic vines...

When I first started giving my chams showers they hated it and even try and walk around and try and find a way to get out. They would climb all over the tree and just sit there. Eventually, they started getting used to it and they sit there and even let the water drip on them from the leaves of...
My one year old Male Veiled is Kong... because when i bought him for my female veiled and introduced them to each other, they were both receptive to each other; I put her in his cage and he stood there with his arms reaching out to different branches looking like he was flexing and posing for...
Use the glass exo terra for another reptile other than chameleons. Chameleons need the wire screen cages not only for heat to escape and control the temps... but also their respiratory needs. They need as much fresh air as they can get, and using a glass terrerium would only be trapping in the...
Welcome to a whole new world. When I got my first cham which was a Rudis.. and then a female veiled, I was relying on books and other websites for info. Since I've found this site, just browsing through the posts and threads have helped me in so many ways. My addiction for chameleons have jumped...
