the habba spitter is the biggest waste of money ever, sell it on craigslist and get a mistking
EDIT: even with one cham its not a waste, the mistking gives them water more effitiently
I doubt she is gravid, if you see her starting to get bloated then you should put a lay box in, chances are its just stress since you just cleaned her cage, she could be shedding again, but its not likely. What species is she?
my dad is my landlord (he owns the property)... I told him i got a new chameleon species that only eats veggies, cause i wont hear the end about the crickets, i also keep the crickets in the bathroom so it muffles the noise. Even if its the law, the landlords can still give you crap about it.
it really does depend, ive seen 4 monthes old that big and even some 8 monthes old that big, my experiance with pet co is bad conditions, so i would guess on the higher range of that scale, maybe 6 monthes or more
damn, i rarely bred mine, because I dont breed crickets, and often i would be thrown in the hole because the food costs are so high, even with beardies. Bred my beardy once i made 5 bucks profit on each baby for months of work
EDIT: i have had a batch of 24 and a batch of 59
id say GENERALLY females are nicer than males, but hell when they are nasty, they are nasty! my most agressive female is lucky, brought her to the vet, she had to put the "snake gloves" on because she kept biting and hissing, shes drawn my blood before, one time i was pull out some crickets out...
One of my female panther chams valaria is a small girl, she is 8 monthes old and I usually move my adult chams into a 2 X 2 X 4, but shes going into a 2 X 2 X 6. How large (inches, head to vent) would you guys say is the minimum to move into such a cage. Thanks
