Males are more colorful, but females tend to be a little temperamental (sometimes) but veilds also can be aggressive and mean by nature so good luck! lol Id get a panther, they tend to be way more friendly. what are the age of the chameleons you are getting? i just got an 18x18x36 for my baby...
Im tired of my bulbs blowing out. I got new digital light timers that are easy on the turn offs unlike the adjustable click gear ones that i have had plenty of problems with but i had a bulb blow after 3 weeks. Im tired of buying bulbs. Its an 8.5 inch lamp zoo med. any tricks please?
I found some at a local flower store in my town and they look awesome, i put them on my window sill and they are blooming like crazy. Anyways i put one of them in my new enclosure, was curious if anyone has had any luck with this?
Feel lucky! Not all chams like to be held and played with. If he's comftorabke with you then feel free to handle him as much as you'd like. If he trusts you that much off the bat he's gonna be a great pet. If he starts puffing up and hissing and stuff like that give him a few days alone but it...
lol wholesale is the right word and you should make some money! depending on the breed and coloring ive seen them anywhere from 100-300 in stores. best of luck
yea i know they grow fast so i appreciate the advice. Ive had a flapneck for along time but not a panther. ive had friends with them just curious what everyones experience has been with it, glad it works. i plan on getting a larger once hes bigger
Im getting a 3 month old panther and Ive read alot of threads on here about cage size and most dont recommend it but im trying to save money so i dont have to buy another cage in the future. has anyone has success with this? or do i have to get a smaller cage.
wax worms are fatty i wouldnt reccomend that being his only diet. leave some crickets in the cage and hell eat them eventually, are they too big for him? how old is he and what size crickets are you feeding him? cup feed or wild feed? gimme some deets. you can do hissing crickets, horn worms...
Have you been taking him outside a lot? If theirs reflectors from the hoodnfor the uvb bulb I wouldn't trip about it. According to a research I read on chameleons they may be able to visibly see UV rays, which is crazy. He may be digesting calcium perfectly fine and not needing direct rays of...
also if it is a flapneck they wont eat fruit or veggies. try wax worms, small super worms, meal or hornworms. i mainly feed mine just crickets though, depends how much money or time i have to get some other stuff!
