    female panther questions!

How big is her cage? When my cham out grew his cage he would start to climb all over(top, side to side). Once I upgraded him to a bigger cage he stopped climbing on the top and sides as much . Does she have a laying bin ?

    Feeding my 6 month old

I give my 6 month panther about 14-18 crickets a day. I let him free range hunt his food in the morning , and by mid afternoon they're usually all gone. I like to feed him once in the morning, that way he has time to digest. When they're growing they can eat a lot. :)

    Urgent help with cricket

Put a toilet paper roll or small pvc pipe in your cricket tub, they'll use it as a hiding spot. Then you just tap them out into what ever you use to dust them, then let them go in your chams cage. :)

    New chameleon

Why would you wait a week to feed her? I have a 6 month cham that would shy away from me the first week I had him. He still wont eat from my hand yet, but he doesn't shy away anymore and will let me pick him up with no problem and eats like a champ. I let him see that my hands are the ones who...

    odd behaviour

I would get some live plants, they will hold water droplets so your cham will stay hydrated easier, and happier.

    Superworms

How long has he been on a cricket strike? My panther will go on a 24 hr cricket strike sometimes, if I feed him superworms more than once a week . After his strike, he reigns terror on any cricket in his domain . I read mixed opinions on superworms as a staple feeder, some say its fine some say...

Help panther chameleon is dying I think!

Its worth calling a vet, you don't want to jeopardize your chams heath due to financial strains. I've been in tough situations . If you explain your situation, they're more likely to help out (at least with advice) rather than tell you to go kick rocks. :)

Help panther chameleon is dying I think!

I'm no vet, but I've read that eye issues could be caused by a vitamin A deficiency . I would recommend contacting a veterinarian to at least get advice as well as doing research online. Good luck, hope your guy pulls through. :)

    D3?

Don't use calcium with D3 everyday, depending on how often your chameleon gets natural sunlight, I would use 2-3 times a month. You can use calcium without D3 everyday or everyother day, depending on age.

    How to gut load ?

I usually like to gut load at least 24hr before feeding. Giving your crickets veggies and fruits is good too( kale, sweet potato , carrots, oranges). Your chameleon will get the nutrients from well fed feeders. You can use your older produce as feeder food. :)
