Mine are kept at room temp. I pour the boiling water right into the fly media, in the "deli" cups. I have never had any issues. If you don't use boiling water, the anti-mold ingredient doesn't work as well as it should, which can result in bad colonies.

You are right. I shouldn't stoop to that immature level. I wonder though, will someone get offended if i post a picture of my chameleon eating anything? Should I be concerned over someone getting too "sensitive" over a roach? If they don't care, then is that bad? A life is a life...

Well just to let anyone know, this lizard ran into my house an actually climbed on the chameleon cage. Yes I grabbed him and put him in, but if there was not a screen there, my chameleon would have eaten him anyway. Natural selection sorry....Maybe this insensitive, but I guess he will not...
