Majority of Pet Stores think they know everything about chameleons and what they need, but in fact most know very little to nothing about them. Most of us leave the bottom bare. Humidity would come from live safe plants and misting along with a dripper. A dripper can be made as a simple plastic...
Hi and welcome to ChameleonForums. He is a cutie. From the upside down picture of your little guy. It does look like he is about to shed. Chameleons try to work their body in wierd positions, yawn, puff up and shake to break free from the old and in with the new. If he is in shed he will be...
She is 5 Months on the 1st. We was told about how old she was when we got her around 4 month. Was given age estimates by wonderful people from this forum. :) So we put her bday on the 1st. She is so sweet. She has never tried to bite/hiss or show any signs of aggretion to us. She is our darling.
Good Morning From Milly and I !! I was able to get a wake up time picture of her. :D She is doing very well in her enclosure. Milly loves to be hand fed her treats and enjoys walking out on her own to us from time to time. We love her so much.
Since the link I posted to help identify male and female dubia roaches was removed by higher power. Please remove this thread I have created that was ment to help others. Sorry if I did anything wrong.
yeah I am keeping them as is. I was stating that I have read others do different. I posted this to help others learn how to sex them if they are not at adult stage. I can't wait for them to expand for more.
My husband and I are trying to breed dubia roaches. We won a breeder starter kit off of a facebook christmas giveaway. It came with roach chow, water crystals, water conditioner, small food bowl, 25 adult female and 10 male dubia roaches. I have read that people normally keep 1 male to every 10...
Milly's new enclosure we created is holding well. Her temps is at 80 to 82f and her humidity is staying at 60% to 65%. We keeping her basking spot at those temps to try and reduce her clutch size and limit how often she lays. She is doing alot of exploreing !! I think she really likes it.
I don't know JoJo but I caught up a bit on alot of your posts quickly. I am crying right along with you. I actually had to stop reading a loud to my husband because I choked up. I asked him to finish reading it for me. By the time he finished he was teared up right along with me. You did...

We have been working on Milly's enclosure for some time now. We picked up the doors from the cabinet shop the other day. All we have left to do is put the bottom doors on and attach the handles. The left screen door looks off because it is open a little. We going to add magnets to keep...
I was working on Milly's soon to be finished enclosure when an idea popped. I know my drawing sucks on the program paint but you get the idea. Would this be something people would like?
From the picture it looks like he is aroud 3 to 4 months old. Milly was that size when we bought her and she was around 4 months.

The only things I done was make sure the water was warm by the time the mist got to her and kept my body in the same position to mist. I guess she got use to it as a daily thing and thought, " You know what.. the heck with it I am going get me a shower" lol On the 23rd it will be a month we have...
