    gaping I thought gaping was necessary for any lizard to cool themselves. Is that correct? My veiled does almost every other day. It looks like he is yawning sometimes. I also saw him drink some water by shooting his tongue out at a pool of H2O on a leaf.

    suggestion I would limit his movement, that and try to keep him off of the sprained ankle. I do not know if you would increase minerals or vitamins during this type of incident. Maybe someone else can jump in. good luck

    Pothos I use pothos. Actually it is the only plant I have placed in my cage. Today I want to go look for a schefflera to see if that will go well in my enclosure. I have a 2 month old veiled and is in dire need of some additional plants.
