    A few pics of Caesar

Quick updates Wow, it's been nearly a month since I posted in thread. I've started a second album titled Free Ranging, see profile. This album contains various shots of Caesar, "out and about". But for those who like a little more instant gratification: A little "Camping Out". :D His...

Chams....Sheesh. So I spent countless hours researching, building, and worrying about my cham. (As any good cham owner should). While out visiting a client I see a tree that I think would be perfect for my boy, so I offer to buy it on the spot. I get the new tree home and add it to what...

    Ideas?

My solution would be to provide some plants with more branches and stemed leaves. Or add additional vines of a variety diameter. Thus giving more choices for secure sleeping perches. The droopy leaves of a few of your plants do not provide a "lock down" for the feet like a stick, vine, etc...

    A few pics of Caesar

A few recent photos Free ranging is alot like watching a toddler. :p Half the time you can tell he's looking for trouble to get in. You'd think with a new tree he'd like to hang out there, no...it's always off to the window.;) Handling going so so. :) New Tree  Back at home :D

    Superworm daily?

I find this discussion facinating...I feed my cham a variety of food throughout the day. Some days its a calciworm or two, 5 crickets and a small to medium dubia roach. Others it's waxworms, 3 roaches and a hornworm. At times he ignores the offering of a roach or other feeder but the next day...

    A few pics of Caesar

Photo Updates Since he's been growing, I've had to adjust his vines lower in the enclosure to keep his casque from hitting the roof while basking. In addition to adding some larger diameter vines for some better footholds and resting spots, I've added a new basking light. The 60 watt bulb I...

    wait is finally over!

Cute little guy, I like your enclosure. The added thought to include a stick to climb back up to the main structure as well as other features show some research and consideration for your guy. I elevated my feeding dish to about halfway up the structure to be seen from his basking position...

    Any advice on handling?

How's it going with handling? Just an update KMC80, Recently my mother-in-law and my father came for a visit. First, Caesar comes down right up close to the screen to get a closer look at the mother-in-law without the slightest hint of fear. Then this last weekend while Dad was...

    A few pics of Caesar

Ask and ye shall receive... This thread is old (2 weeks)? It has been updated regularly with pics and videos. But askin' a cham owner for pics is like takin' candy from a baby. :D After refusing to come home. Office view from the door.:) 10:15 or so we get the good sun in the...

    is this a jacksonii jacksonii?

Chris, As I am nowhere near as experienced with chameleons as you are, I take this as an opportunity to learn something. What are the distiguishing characteristics of the pictured cham that led you to this conclusion?

    A few pics of Caesar

Thanks for your comment and interest. I went to get him established, as well as answer some questions regarding some snorting Caesars been doing, his weight, and some recent plant eating. His tail is more triangular than round right now. Doc says the tail will fatten up as he gets older...

    Dingo - Male Veiled

That last photo looks so much like my Caesar I did a double-take. Almost the same markings, albeit more intense on Dingo.

At our first vet visit. As you can see he was a bit tense.:D He did suprisingly well riding in the car and with the vet doing her business looking him over. Cracks me up how he looks out the window as we drive along.:p
