Thanks, he's a charmer for sure. For now at least. I can see him being grumpy when he gets older. That's Ok though, I like my pets spicy. I have a mouse who is as cute as a button, very social, but if you put your fingers close to the bars of her cage, she will frantically reach out for them and...
This is awesome! I've had my male veiled for about a month now and I am going to start doing this!
I especially love the sleeping beauty picture. I love to watch them sleep :p
I used the word "walker" and immediately thought of the walking dead (I don't know how I can hold out until October  )
Jake is all, "you can't see me. I'm a flippin leaf, yo!" (Now I'm thinking about breaking bad lol!

Doesn't seem to bother her one bit lol! It's one of my personal faves. She's a critter lover and country girl at heart, just like her momma. ;) she's so ginger and caring with all of our pets. My sweet Manni cakes <3
The little black dots are from a recent escape. At first, I believed that one of my cats had a go at him, but then came to the conclusion that he was scratched up from the escape. They are healed and he is fine.
Also, he was housed alone when I bought him, and he is housed alone now.
LMAO!
Kind of like, if you swallow a watermelon seed, a watermelon vine will grow out of your stomach! Or if you swallow gum, it will stick to your ribs for SEVEN years.
I too was wondering this. Mine seem to be dying off rather quickly, although who knows how old they were when I bought them (they were/are adults). It seemed like I was able to hang on to the smaller ones longer. But I was also feeding anoles, not a bottom-less pit of a juvenile cham :p
*Sorry! Hijacking this thread! :o *
This is very useful information, Dave! Thanks for posting! I was just browsing some vendor websites to see what I can get for my veiled cham. He loves crickets and wax worms, but I know I need to add some variety to his diet. I am a bit confused on quantity...
What on earth?
I'm not really familiar with this species of chameleon but I am shocked to see any chameleon behave that way.
Kind of reminds me of the head bobs that green anoles do. Too funny! :D
