Babies dont get up as soon as they get out of the egg. Usually they will just lay there for up to 2 days. Try lightly misting one of them and see if you get a twitch or not.

If I were in your shoes I would either... A) Read up on Panther Care, Water the chameleons(with a constant dripper) and feed crickets. After the holiday weekend, ship them to an experienced keeper, for a small fee, someone that can provide vet care. I'm sure there are many people on here that...

You cannot tell the locale by looking at the chameleon. Spine coloration has little or nothing to do with it.

You cannot tell the locale by looking at it, we are all just guessing. To me the 1st looks like a sick Ankaramy and the 2nd looks like an Ambilobe or an Ambanja. They are both males. How much are they? Cant you find a reputable chameleon breeder?
