Excellent news, congradulations on the new addition. I just picked up a new male nosy mitsio on thursday. Hope everything goes well, and looking forward to seeing some pics!
Bummed out. Never get to go to any shows due to work, not cool at all. On the flip side, I was able to make my way down to Drew and Tamara's house yesterday to pick up my new chameleon. Thanks again guys, wish I could make it to the show.

Hey Drew, pretty bummed I didn't get out to any of the expo's, but sure hope you guys had a good turn out at them and hopefully found homes for some of those many, many veileds you had last time I was down. Hoping I can make a trip in the upcoming weeks and get one of those Nosy Be's from you. I...
As far as I know it isn't uncommon to see lumps on the stomach when they are gravid. Im sure more experienced keepers will toss in their 2 cents, but I am pretty sure it's normal to notice the eggs.
I'll do the reading, but it's far easier to post what I need to know then to sit here for 5hours trying to find it on some random thread. Thanks for the link.
All I do is work and I only own 2 chams so far so I got a little bit saved up ;D. I always struggle with the search feature so I figured it'd be easier just to post exactly what I want to know. I am also unsure as to exactly how old the female is. I am just going by how old I thought she was...
I have a male and female veiled that I am thinking about breeding in the future and just had a question or two. How long is the entire process (from start to finish). After they mate how long do they retain the eggs before laying them? Also is there any sort of minimum age that they should not...
Im working 12s the weekend of the 19th and as soon as I get done sunday at noon I am hitting the road and getting down there. What time does it run until?
You could just give your friend a spare key and have him stop by and feed and mist for you. If you have an automatic mister even better then all he needs to do is toss the crickets in (or put them in a cup) and hes done. :D
Do we live in the same town? PetSmart seems to have this issue all over the continent. Same story as yours in my town except theres 2 in the aquarium i speak of. Sad to see, but you'd more than likely be more upset if you took it in and tried to help it but it didnt work out. Maybe you could...
I'm going to keep mine in for now and see what she does in the next week or so. My other thought was she may be having trouble passing food? Any tricks to help if she is? Thanks for the help Julirs.
The bin has a mixture of about 70% playsand 30% coco fibre and is (rough estimate) 8-10inches deep. Only thing I see different in my bin than others is the shape, but i wouldn't expect shape to have much to do with it. No she hasn't shown any colours what so ever. Shes bright green now and she...
I noticed about 3weeks ago my female veiled was looking much "chubbier" than usual and making unusual trips down the trees to the pots they are planted in, and moving the rocks that cover the soil so i assumed she may be gravid. I have read Brad's blog on "Kitty" multiple times and went ahead...
Just a thought as I did not read if you figured it out yet. Could it be the start of a shed. My female veiled gets 2 white nostrils before she begins to shed, they are then gone when the shed is done. If not im sure you will get to the bottom of it with the help of the people on this forum. Good...
I dont think feeding is the issue, just put a few cups near their favourite hangout and they will find it im sure. The lighting is what I was trying to work out, but if you think you have it figured out, why not try it. BUT i think you would find 2 nice sized cages to be far more convenient...
