Hi neighbor
I am in Brooklyn small suburb inside Cleveland. If your cham eats the gel water cube it can expand inside him/her killing it. It is non toxic but think about what it does when you add water to a tiny piece... It expands at least 10x it's size.
I wish I knew more about BWR but...
Hi
Hi Where in Ohio are you?
I would like to point out two things first you said
"Finally I gave up trying to feed him in the container (about 12" x 6") and instead just put a few crickets in his cage with cricket food and that gel water stuff they can't drown in. The day before yesterday...
Dubias
I use fresh mixed greens and have the water crystals. I use Repashy Superload and Cricket Crack for dry which I have some in a separate container always available. I sprinkle a little on fresh greens when I feed them fresh food. I occasionally throw in oranges. I did throw in a...
I am going
through the same thing right now. Everytime I go into the Pets Supplies Plus by me there are these little Geckos. One is albino but looks dead everytime I go in there. Isn't move much eyes are closed look significantly smaller and malnourished compared the the others in the same...
I have
More then I need with only one Cham now. He doesn't eat but a certain size they cannot be too small he won't even give it a second look and of course no bigger then the space between his little eyes. About a half inch he seems to eat. So I have too many of the larger one since they live...
I have quite a bit of medium to large dubias. I am willing to do a trade for soft bodied feeders preferrable hornworms, silkworms, butterworms or phoenix worms.
I am looking for a baby bearded dragon (something different).
I only feed my dubias Repashy superload, cricket crack and fresh...
well just the dubias house. For the first time since setting them up almost 3 months now. (I believe)
Anyways I have only distrubed them a few times to get some feeders. All I can say is WOW did they breed like crazy.
I thought I needed more male dubias NOPE don't need a thing after doing a...
lol
My mom knows how much I love all my pets. However after getting my chams she asked me did you ever think you would be breeding all these bugs to feed your pets? (dubias and silks). I just laughed. What is really funny is if she sees a bug big enough for the chameleon to eat she will call me...
Hi
I would recommend a quick soak in a diluted betadine solution and some antibiotic cream for her tail. Clean it daily.
You already are aware of the need to separate them so the sooner the better.
Make sure they stay hydrated. Hopefully she is just trying to acclimate to her new owner...
I wish...
I lived closer... I would help them out so you could go.... You do have a lot of people there that will be doing everything possible to care for your babies. Trust in that and go enjoy yourself....
Hard decision I am sure....
