It works great for me. You have to use filtered water. RO water is the best. If not your nozzle will get clogged. Try replacing your spray nozzle. They are super cheap. :D
I have not heard anything good about the habba mist. Never tried it personally.
Oh yeah. I did all my research before purchasing my cham. Once he arrived i went to petco for a few more supplies. Talked to an associate and they really have no idea how to take care of a cham. Its kinda sad since they actually sell them.
I don't really force him out of his cage, just persistently persuade him. Once he is on my hand i just let him go where he wants for the most part. I try not to let him climb up to my neck. I just keep him where i can see him.
I have started to handle my 4 month old chameleon. I take him out of his cage about twice a week. He is very skittish though. Every time i pick him up he turns black. Will he ever grow out of this? Should i just leave him alone?
Congrats on the new cham! My only suggestion is to make sure his heat lamp is about 8 inches off the top of the screen. Young chams can climb on the screen and if he decides to hang under the heat lamp he may get burned. Again, congrats on the new pet!:D
