i almost got one. they are supposed to be great but they produce alot of heat, you will need to mount it a good distance up off the top of your enclosure... i was going to need it like 1-3 feet up off the top of my habitat so i went with somethin easier to mount
sierra what is the timing interval on your habba?
the only complaint i can see about this thing is the short spray time. and that is easily noted by lookin at the programming options, want a 20 minute spray then buy/build somethin else. it was never intended to be a cham-specific product...
i have a habba mist (spray) and it works great for my 65gal reptarium / juvenile vieled male. also i just hung it inside and don't use the extension hose and second spray head at all. definately not anything super impressive or top of the line but hey it beats the little dripper :P i didn't...
there is a pic of it in one of my other threads, there arent many heheh.. here it is https://www.chameleonforums.com/check-my-setup-4237/ i should probably go update that one now with the new cage info
it was a 10gal aquarium with a mesh topper that extended the hieght so that it...
i read that due to pesticides / chemical fertilizer or whatever is sprayed on most common houseplants that if you get a new one for the cham then you have to wash it, repot in safe soil, and quarantine it for several months before it is technically safe to place with the cham. that is why i...
so if they look just like pothos how can i tell the difference with the ones i have?? coz if i have to buy new ones then they have to be separated for several months anyway and don't really help me right now like the plants i already have had for a long time.... if they are safe that is
i don't know much about this stuff, but the only other safe plant i have is pothos, which is also listed as toxic on those 2 lists that name this dragon tree as toxic, pothos is listed here and elsewhere as safe..... so it's all basically a big guessing game is what your sayin? or trial and...
i have identified it as dracaena marginata or madagascar dragon tree, i am positive this is the right ID. thanks for all the help i would never have found it without the dracaena starting point
second ? now this is not one of the 2 dracaena listed in the live plants database, anyone know...
thanks, i will get a cutting cleaned off and placed in there. i also have this plant that i cant ID https://www.chameleonforums.com/some-kind-palm-tree-4251/
if anyone wants to take a stab at it the first guess is definately wrong
can anyone ID this plant for me? i got it at a homedepot about a year ago and have no idea what it is. and i am very interested because of all the plants i have this one is the best size for inside my chams enclosure
thanks, i am about to move to a new apt but i will check the list for my houseplants and see if anything i have will be ok for him, otherwise it will be back to the pet shop
actually i noticed i have a pothos plant that has been here for well over 6 months, but the medium needs changed and it...
i have a digi temp probe but no digi hygrometer... sofar sogood i guess. my cham seems fine, nicely colored, doesn't freak out when i reach in his cage, has fed and pooped on his first day here. i added a bark hut thing for hiding, a branch in the big space over the dripper dish for climbing...
ok better now i think... humidity is about 55-60% and temp is 87 at the very closest perch near the lamp, 78 at the opposite side of the mesh or pretty much room temp.
analog meter reads 80... this has all been with open windows in my apt. not running a/c so i will have to see how it ranges...
