    They are just lightly dusted - like a pinch of powder in a bag and shaken with some feeders inside. I've tried dusting them with as small amount as possible and he still wont take it

    Colin is impossible to get anything syringed into him! I thought about mixing it with water and injecting it into his feeders but was hoping for an easier way rather than having to work out concentrations and stuff!

    Rabbits make baaaaaad friends for guinea pigs... Their diets are different, guinea pigs can carry viruses without being affected, but can infect the rabbit, and a rabbit can easily kick out and break a guinea pigs back....

    They are pretty good at toileting everywhere :D Also - as long as you feed her a good diet, she should be fine - it sounds like shes going to get a hell of a lot better care with you, and I imagine if shes been kept in a small cage and is fat, shes prob not had much exercise!

    yeah, mine are done once a year as a precaution - sometimes i feel sorry for all my pets - they get prodded, poked and palpated on a daily basis!

    Hey :) I'm trying to be slightly self sufficient in my feeder keeping! I currently have some adult dubia to start a colony with, and have some under heating in the form of a heat mat. I also have a number of locusts at the moment, and was wondering what kind of heat is best for them...
