thankyou kinyonga, ive got to give her 0.1ml of liquid calcium per day which does seem quite a small amount but im not vet so i dont kno lol. cheers for the advice on the oxytocin i have been told i shud use that from various people but there had to be a reason the vet didnt want to use it...

never mind guys, ive found out that this calcium has vitamin D3 in it so can be overdosed so ill stick to what the vet prescribed.

dude im tryin to do everything i can here, i took her to the vets and im taking his advice, he gave her an injection of calcium, i told him to inject her with oxitocin? the stuff that induces labour but he said that doesnt work that well on reptiles its better for mammals and birds so he didnt...

hi guys, well i made a few previous posts about my female yemen phoebe about her bein restless and not eating well i went to a reptile specialist 2day and it turns out she is egg bound, i have to feed her and water her thru a syringe, also i havent got any liquid calcium until the afternoon...

just to prove her eyes arent sunken, shes now stopped bein restless now and eating again so thats all good.

as ive already said she has a place to lay yes, she is not dehydrated as she drinks plenty of water everyday , so comments like that arent really helpfull tbh and that isnt her normal size shes puffed up there.

thanks for the help guys:D well i got a 100 gallon flexarium and the floor is 3ft wide by about 1.5ft deep and the laying container is just about as big as the floor of the flex. id say the container has about 7 inches of sand in it but its flat so if it needs to be deeper i might mount one side...

thanks for your replies guys:D its been 26 days since copulation, im using just sand ,because last time i used soil i found little flies would keep emerging from it, even when i put fresh soil in the container about a week later i would have small flies everywhere, this wudnt be good for an egg...

hi guys, well i put my female and male chams together 26 days ago and they mated , my female stopped eating 4 days ago now, shud she have laid the eggs? how long do they stop eating for before they lay? 4 days is quite along time not to eat isnt it. shes drinkin fine tho
